On doctor’s advice, today, we make more use of the pulpit frame than of the wheelchair. The good doctor undertook showering duties. He stood there in his bathers while I supported myself on the pulpit frame whilst being washed down with the long handle sponge, in our new wet room. This is all seem to work very satisfactorily.

I spent the early part of the morning working on  my..laptop while the good doctor dictated his reports upstairs. Being a beautiful sunny day, I then transferred to a sun lounge,  in the garden, before lunching at the outside table and spending a further couple of hours in the sun  before Michael had to leave for the airport to fly back to Australia. No doubt he will be with us again within a few weeks.
