I spent a very busy day catching up on all the things that had built-up whilst I had been away.  I also contacted AbilityNet who have arranged for the tea soaked laptop to be picked up tomorrow and repaired.

The most exciting event today was booking my flights, and those of the good doctor, to Bangkok for mid-October.  Michael is adamant that we go whether or not by then I am wheelchair-bound.  The resort in Hua Hin is fully prepared for this eventuality so we have decided to go for it.  I just pray I do not go to much further downhill in the meantime.h

  • Hi Mark,
Glad to see you are still planning future adventures. We have beeh thinking of you since we got home, especially today on your birthday, which you share with Eamonn who recieved his exam results today. He passed them all, did well in chemistry.

We celebrated this evening with chocolate cake and crowded 19 candles on it, Eamonn looked suitably bored by it all but I think he liked it none the less.

We saw the photos of the fox on Michael’s veranda, Simon says its a lovely specimen not like the scrawney animals we have here but it does not look like the animal we saw on the way back to Michaels place last week. We think that it must have been a wolf or a lynx.

Hope you enjoyed your birthday today and got lots of correspondence from your many fans and colleagues.

    Will stay in touch.

With much love to you and yours,
    Nora , Simon and Eamonn.
